Corporate Responsibility & Compliance Manager (m/w/d)
Duties
The primary responsibility of the AER Corporate Responsibility & Compliance Manager is to drive the evolution and continuous improvement of processes and activities in accordance with environmental and societal regulations and standards, and related requirements. This position is located in Korneuburg (Austria), Lindenberg (Germany) or Toulouse (France).
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- In support of the CR & Compliance leadership team:
- Conduct regulatory and normative monitoring and benchmarking
- Perform and maintain the diagnostics of maturity and compliance of the AER division
- Create an inventory of current CR & Compliance initiatives within AER companies
- Support the coordination of the Compliance Pillar actions and initiatives
- Develop and maintain a high-level annual and long-term milestone plan to track progress and provide visibility for executive reporting
- Specific to CR and Sustainable Development, provide support to the AER Director of CR with a strong level of delegation across the following duties:
- Define and coordinate the actions related to Ecodesign and climate strategy, ensuring alignment with the CR approach and environmental management programs
- Produce and disseminate regulatory and normative reports related to the CR approach and contribute to these reports falling within the division’s scope (Ecovadis, CDP, etc.)
- Coordinate the organization’s regulatory and normative compliance with applicable laws and environmental requirements
- Manage actions to evolve and improve processes and activities according to the requirements of environmental and societal regulations and standards
- Propose initiatives to promote best practices across the AER division
- Coordinate communications on CR & Compliance internally within the division
Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Corporate Responsibility and/or Compliance role or 5 years of experience in the Aerospace & Transportation industries with a strong interest in sustainability and compliance
- Broad knowledge across multiple sustainability dimensions, including community, people, environmental impact, responsible procurement, operational practices and customer engagement
- Relationship management and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead strategy development and execution
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with business heads and department leaders, experts, in an international environment
- Excellent personal effectiveness and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Language skills: Professional proficiency in English is a must, fluency in German and/or French is a plus

Duration of assignment: at least 5 years
Position based in Korneuburg, Lindenberg or Toulouse, with travels to the Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation sites
