Can you work independently, diagnose complex faults, and carry out major repairs on earthmoving equipment with minimal assistance? Liebherr Earthmoving Division is seeking a motivated and skilled technician to join our team. Based at our Yatala workshop, this role also includes field service work across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and occasionally in regional areas. As part of a small, supportive team, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of Liebherr equipment, including wheel loaders, material handlers, and excavators, for our growing customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical diagnosis

  • Major and minor services

  • Maintenance and component replacements

  • Fabrication and new machine build as required

  • Complete Service Reports

  • Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field

  • Dealing directly with Key Customers

About you

  • Trade qualified as Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic

  • Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work over-time as required

  • Extensive industry experience 

  • Ability to fault find

  • A current driver’s license

  • Forklift, W, T, R and Air conditioning ticket advantageous

  • Basic Word and Excel abilities

  • Commitment to maintain, and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace
