Create Fascination: Your Responsibilities
- Develop PLD/FPGA solutions for embedded systems used in aerospace applications
- Perform and coordinate tasks related to the development of complex firmware applications with a wide range of functions, including support through certification
- Develop and coordinate complex firmware applications
- Implement technical requirements and detailed specifications for the optimal use of hardware architecture, electronic assemblies, and FPGA control systems
- Define, program, commission, and test Board Support Packages (BSPs) for electronic control units and/or applications
- Coordinate task content and timelines with relevant stakeholders
- Conduct PLD/FPGA reviews for requirements analysis as well as conceptual and detailed design
- Evaluate, document, and communicate verification results
- Create, review, and assess safety concepts and safety analyses
- Develop test strategies
- Collaborate within interdisciplinary development teams
Bring Your Strengths: Your Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in PLD firmware development within the aerospace industry
- Proven experience in embedded systems development
- Proven experience with PLD/FPGA technologies and FPGA development tools (e.g. Microsemi, Xilinx, Altera, Libero)
- Experience with model-based software development methods and tools (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink) is desirable
- Knowledge of PLD/FPGA verification, preferably using Modelsim or RivieraPro
- Experience in aerospace PLD/FPGA development according to RTCA DO-254 is considered an advantage
- Ability to work effectively in development teams within an agile framework
