Key Responsibilities
About the role
The Workshop Service Technician is responsible for the provision of detailed and efficient diagnostic, maintenance and repairs of Liebherr mobile cranes to meet customer demands and minimise downtime. The role of the workshop technician also encompasses the provision of the highest level of customer service and with maintaining a safe workplace.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic components on Liebherr mobile cranes
- Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing on Liebherr mobile cranes
- Carry out diagnostics/examinations using specialised tools and equipment
- Request required spare parts for timely completion of jobs
- Operate repair equipment including mobile lifting equipment
- Accurately complete documentation including timesheets, maintenance records and any customer/site specific documentation required
- Maintain effective relationships with customers and assist customers with maintenance planning
- Receive and provide on-the-job training to acquire and share knowledge of Liebherr mobile cranes
About you
About you
Essential
- A recognised Trade in the mechanical, electrical or electronics field
- Current driver’s license
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
Preferred
- High Risk Licenses; Forklift, EWP, Basic rigging, Overhead crane
- Working at Heights certificate
- Liebherr Mobile Crane maintenance experience
- Ability to fault find and rectify hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues
- Commitment to maintain, and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace
