About the role 

As a key member of the team, the Sales Administrator is responsible for providing administration support to the Used Cranes department throughout the sales process through to delivery, for our Mobile Cranes division.  Reporting to the National Used Cranes Manager and based at our Erskine Park facility in Sydney’s West, the successful candidate will be an experienced administrator who can work independently, be self-motivated and use your exceptional organisation skills to maintain and enhance customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Duties

  • Coordinate supplier quotes, raise and verify purchase orders, and manage invoicing processes.
  • Arrange travel and process expenses claims
  • Support the preparation of customer quotations and respond to customer enquiries.
  • Maintain sales documentation, machine files, and marketing-related materials.
  • Create and update documents, spreadsheets, templates, and presentations.
  • Assist with registration and importation requirements for cranes.
  • Update databases, manage filing, generate reports, and monitor component stock levels.
  • Take meeting minutes for client discussions when required.
  • Set up customer credit and supplier accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support efficient communication.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales administration processes and raise potential issues impacting product or service quality.

About you

Skills & experience

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration or similar is desirable
  • Ideally experience within OEM equipment or related heavy industry
  • Sales or Marketing qualification advantageous but not essential
  • Experience with import process an advantage but not essential
  • High attention to detail and effective communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and complete to high standard
  • Exceptional customer service skills
