Responsibilities

The Parts, Warehouse, and Service teams are looking for a motivated Shipper/Receiver to play a key role in supporting daily operations. This position is responsible for the accurate receipt, processing, preparation, and shipment of orders, as well as warehouse functions such as loading, unloading, packaging, and inventory handling. The successful candidate will also assist with administrative tasks within the Parts and Service departments, helping to ensure efficient operations and a high level of customer satisfaction. In addition, this role will be responsible for the following:

 

  • Check, receive and process sales orders, replenishment orders and purchase orders
  • Prepare shipments and create labels
  • Contact shipping companies and arrange pick up or delivery
  • No location list and inventory checks
  • File necessary paperwork and stay organized 
  • Make sure warehouse is clean, tidy and safe for all team members
  • Cycle count daily
  • Work with component and re-manufacturing department on various warehouse and parts activities
  • Process parts returns from customers and field
  • Organize warehouse and locations for flow
  • Identify priorities for the day (shipping and receiving areas)
  • Review stock out and purchase orders to see common parts ordered and/or patterns
  • List of misses and possible sales
  • Check of warehouse and note of all empty spaces and opportunities for improvement
  • Weekly major clean up
  • Works with Warranty team to process items for shipping
  • Process cores to make sure that all items are stored, packed and shipped back to the factory
  • Additional duties as requested

Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  •  You are self-motivated with the ability to work alone, unsupervised for extended periods of time.
  •  Ability to work with computers and Microsoft Office suite
  • Able to walk up the stairs repeatedly and stay on the feet for most of the day.
  • Organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast, ever-changing environment.
  • Capable of lifting a minimum of 40 lbs
