Human Resources Generalist
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting and assisting the Human Resources Business Partners in support of business initiatives for the U.S. Liebherr companies and operating divisions. The position serves as an administrator for several human resources functions including workforce management, recruiting, employee relations, compensation, benefits, payroll, training, development, and employee records. The Human Resources Generalist I position is an entry-level human resources role responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. The position offers a strong foundation in core Human Resources functions and opportunities for professional growth and career development within Human Resources.

Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties:
- Provides guidance and support to employees on the interpretation and application of internal policies.
- Addresses employee concerns, mediates conflicts, and promotes a positive work environment.
- Manages the FMLA process and tracks FMLA & STD leave
- May assist with routine employee relations investigations (e.g., attendance, conduct, policy violations).
- Coordinate and support onboarding and assimilation programs to improve retention and engagement (New Employee Orientation).
- Supports performance review process as needed and provides feedback to support employee development.
- Acts as a liaison between the shared services benefits and payroll team
- Answers employee questions about benefits and payroll
- Works closely with the HRBP Lead in drafting U.S. manuals, policies and procedures. Studies the impact of legislation and supports compliance with federal and state laws.
- Coordinates with applicable HRBPs to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Reviews motor vehicle reports and make recommendations to management as necessary.
- Assists HRBPs in employee investigations as needed.
- Works with HRBP Lead and operating divisions to implement LIN performance management programs and related initiatives.
- Assists HRBPs in conducting management training courses.
- Maintains HR system(s) required for administrative reporting and communication purposes (i.e. , Success Factors, ADP, SharePoint, etc.).
- Creates routine and custom reports as needed.
- Maintains and manages employee agreements.
- Participates as a team member in employee internal communications, including mailings
- Prepares and administers new hire and termination process, including exit interviews
- Assists with data collection and other administrative tasks in response to employee complaints and EEO claims.
- Processes reimbursements, as well as referral program submissions, reimbursement requests and payroll notice forms
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Competencies
Education and Experience:
- A related Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of related HR experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with Success Factors and ADP software preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license

Pay Range: $61,000 - $68,000.
