Creating Passion: Your Responsibilities
- Management and further development of a local IT team in Pune
- Coordination and close cooperation with the IT head office in Germany
- Ensuring the implementation of global IT strategies and standards with a focus on European mindset and quality standards
- Responsibility for local IT projects and support for international rollouts
- Communicating with stakeholders in Europe and India to harmonise technical requirements and processes
- Regular performance review of the team with stakeholders in Europe
- Promotion of a team-orientated, transparent and solution-oriented way of working
- Responsibility for resource, cost and budget planning
Contributing your Strengths: Your Qualifications
Qualitfication:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or comparable qualification
Experience
- More than 10 years of experience in relevant skills sets and more than 5 years of experience in managing IT teams, ideally in an international environment
Preferred Skills / Special Skills:
- Strong understanding of the European way of working and thinking
- Familiarity with European IT standards, processes and quality requirements
- Experience in working with German companies or international IT centres
- Knowledge of business applications (incl. ERP), digital workplace technologies and IT infrastructure
- Project management skills
- Strong communication skills, intercultural competence and hands-on mentality
- Very good written and spoken English skills, good German skills preferable
