Senior Engineer - Product Compliance (BU-Engines)

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Update existing Risk Assessment (ISO 12100) for gas engine on latest knowledge on Diesel and H2 engines and prepare for the new machinery regulation (EU) 2023/1230
- Validating different user manuals to be aligned on requirements from the Risk Assessment (ISO 12100)
- In future also reporting of material declarations based on BOMs to our customers (process will be prepared this year) based on EU-REACH, EPA-TSCA, Proposition 65, Dodd Frank Act, and many more…
Contributing your strengths: your qualifications
Qualification and Education Requirements:
Bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields.
Experience:
3-5 years’ experience in similar role.
Preferred Skills / Special Skills:
- Very good English skills spoken and in writing (All documents are in English)
- Familiar with Product safety risk assessments (ISO 12100), or FMEA (Task will differ from FMEA but has similarities in industry applications.
- Familiar with BOM reporting by use of ERP and PLM
- High knowledge on mid-size combustion engines (2l to 5l bore, up to V20)
