LEAN Specialist
"Liebherr - Concrete Technology Maritsa" Ltd. was registered in early July 2021, with abusiness focus on the production of concrete mixers. The company successfully manufactures fully equipped concrete mixers and components for mixers, all of exceptionally high quality.
Тhe production process is process-oriented and equipped with modern manufacturing machinery, essential to meet the highest quality requirements and standards.Our clients include major construction companies and concrete transport firms from many regions across Europe.
We are located in Plovdiv, 40 Kuklensko Shose Blvd. (next to Plovdiv Customs), and we are looking for a colleague to join our team in the position of:
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Leading and executing Lean projects aimed at optimizing production processes and reducing waste (e.g. in areas such as lead time, material flow, inventory management, and quality).
- Analyzing existing production processes using Lean methods such as value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen, SMED, etc.
- Identifying improvement potentials and developing concepts to increase efficiency.
- Implementing Lean principles and tools in production departments.
- Planning, organizing, and facilitating workshops and training sessions on Lean topics for employees.
- Close collaboration with various departments (e.g. production, quality assurance, maintenance, logistics).
- Developing and implementing key performance indicator (KPI) systems to measure and monitor Lean performance.
- Preparing reports and presentations on the progress and results of Lean projects.
- Supporting the development and execution of the company’s Lean strategy.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Performing project management tasks such as scheduling, budget control, and resource management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Completed technical degree (e.g. engineering, industrial engineering, production technology) or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in applying Lean methods and tools in a production environment.
- Experience in project management, ideally in leading Lean projects.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work.
- Strong communication skills, persuasiveness, and the ability to engage and train employees on Lean topics.
- Team player with the ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Ideally, experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
Desirable Additional Qualifications:
- Certification in Lean Management (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt).
- Experience with change management methodologies.
- Knowledge of the digitalization of production processes (Industry 4.0).
