Your Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for the end‑to‑end bid management of defense opportunities, from opportunity qualification through proposal submission
  • You coordinate and orchestrate all bid‑related activities across internal stakeholders (engineering, sales, legal, compliance, finance) in a highly complex organizational environment
  • You ensure timely, compliant, and high‑quality preparation of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs in international contexts
  • You actively structure, plan, and drive bid activities with a high level of organizational discipline and transparency
  • You support capture and win‑strategy activities, including customer, OEM, and partner coordination during pre‑bid phases
  • You manage bid schedules, risks, decision gates, and management approvals with a strong focus on effectiveness and efficiency
  • You contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of bid and opportunity management processes in a growing defense business environment
  • You support the structured handover from bid to contract execution and early program setup
  • You help establish scalable structures and ways of working for a still evolving defense business within the organization

Your Profile:

  • You hold a university degree in engineering, business administration, or a comparable field
  • You bring experience in bid management, capture management, project management, or a related function, ideally within defense, aerospace, or complex industrial environments
  • You are recognized for your strong organizational talent and your ability to structure complex topics, processes, and stakeholder landscapes
  • You are comfortable working in environments with evolving structures and actively contribute to building new processes and ways of working
  • You combine a hands‑on, execution‑driven mindset with a strong focus on efficiency, quality, and reliability
  • You demonstrate excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills across functions and hierarchy levels
  • You are willing and motivated to grow your role towards capture and early program management responsibilities
  • You are fluent in German & English; additional languages are an advantage (Spanish / French)
