Service Technician
The Field Service Technician is responsible for the provision of the safe, efficient and compliant mechanical and/or electrical; diagnostic, repair, maintenance and component replacement services to the Division’s customer base.
Responsibilities

Provide electrical / mechanical services including but not limited to:
|
|
Active involvement in the continuous improvement of the Product Support process |
|
Maintain effective relationships with customers |
|
Maintain a clean and safe work environment |
|
Accurate completion of documentation including timesheets, maintenance requests and any customer/site specific documentation required |
|
Provide on-the-job training as required |
|
Personal (i.e. individual’s) health and safety performance and behaviour and that your acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of others |
|
Compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) and Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Policy and Procedures. |
|
Alerting the organisation of potential or known problems that affect the quality of LAS products and services |
|
Initiate recommendations for improvement of the organisation’s policies and processes |
|
Other duties as directed |
About You
Essential
Either:
Certificate III Mobile Plant Technology
Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical)
Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical) Diesel Fitter
Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication)
Certificate III Electrotechnology (HV)
Certificate III Automotive Electrical Technology
Desirable
Large excavator/haul truck experience
Liebherr mining equipment experience
High Risk Licenses; LF, DG, EWP
Working at Heights certificate
