We are looking for a motivated SAP S/4HANA Service Consultant to play a key role in our newly established SAP Center in Madrid. In this role, you will contribute to global SAP S/4HANA deployments, shaping the future of our after-sales and service management processes across multiple countries. You will be part of an international, cross-functional team that values innovation, methodology and long-term thinking, making a direct impact on the way Liebherr runs its business worldwide.

Please note that the working location for this position will be in Madrid city, where we are currently setting up a new office location.

Headline Creating passion: your responsibilities

  • Drive the successful implementation of SAP Service within our global S/4HANA transformation program, ensuring consistency with the Liebherr global template.  
  • Translate complex business requirements into robust SAP Service Management solutions (including configuration and customization), with a focus on service orders, service confirmation, service contracts, warranty management, service billing and resource related billings. 
  • Integrate SAP Services with external Field Service execution tools (e.g., ServiceMax or Microsoft Dynamics) covering technician scheduling and dispatch, mobile apps for field engineers, spare parts management in the field, etc.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing expert guidance across all project phases: Design, realization, testing, cutover, go-live and post go-live support. 
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer to empower key users and stakeholders.  
  • Contribute to change management activities, ensuring adoption of new processes and S/4HANA solutions  
  • Support the creation of solution documentation leveraging tools such as JIRA and Confluence. 
  • Collaborate closely with an international, cross-functional team to deliver high quality, scalable solutions that support our global growth. 
  • Travel (up to 30%) to Liebherr sites worldwide to engage directly with business teams and support deployments.

Contributing your strengths: your qualifications

  • 3-5 years of professional experience as an SAP Service consultant, with hands-on exposure to international SAP deployments.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related discipline.  
  • Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementations, ideally in large-scale, industrial manufacturing, multinational environments with Sales and Services business models.     
  • Strong process end-to-end Customer Service and Service Management knowledge including service management, contract management, service execution and the corresponding integration with SD, MM, CO, etc, and non-SAP solutions (e.g., Field Service Execution). 
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business challenges and translate them into SAP solutions that drive efficiency and value.  
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.  
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., German) are an advantage.  
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in multicultural and cross-functional teams.  
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%) as required by project work. 
  • SAP S/4HANA for Services certification or equivalent credentials are a strong plus.
