Client & Server Security Product Owner (m/f/d)
We are expanding our Global Corporate Information Security team and are looking for a Client & Server Security Product Owner (m/f/d) to lead the strategy, roadmap, and governance of enterprise endpoint and server security services across Liebherr’s global organization.
This role owns the product direction for secure configuration, endpoint management, detection, and compliance across client and server platforms, working closely with Liebherr’s 150+ companies worldwide to deliver standardized, scalable services in manufacturing, on-premises, and multi-cloud environments.
Working at the intersection of security, endpoint engineering, and enterprise architecture, you will define global platform standards, drive innovation in modern client deployment, and align closely with IAM, Infrastructure, SOC, and local IT teams across the group to strengthen security at scale.
The working location for this position will be in Madrid city where we operate a hybrid model, requiring at least 40% of the working time on-site.
Creating passion: your responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role are:
- Own and maintain the Client & Server Security product vision and roadmap for Liebherr’s global organization, in close collaboration with 150+ companies worldwide.
- Act as Product Owner for endpoint and server management platforms, including Intune, SCCM, MDM, and related tooling, with a focus on modern deployment across manufacturing, on-premises, and multi-cloud environments.
- Define and govern secure configuration and hardening standards that can be adopted consistently across Liebherr’s global companies and technology environments.
- Own EDR strategy and lifecycle, including platform onboarding, coverage, and maturity.
- Establish and oversee patch, vulnerability, and configuration compliance governance.
- Drive alignment between endpoint management, IAM, infrastructure, and SOC teams.
- Own vendor and technology evaluations related to endpoint and server security tooling (e.g., Ivanti).
- Support audits, risk assessments, and security reviews related to endpoints and servers.
- Provide product-level reporting and KPIs to CIS leadership and steering forums.
Your main immediate contributions will be:
- Define and deliver a Client & Server Security product roadmap that supports global rollout across Liebherr’s 150+ companies and aligns with CIS objectives and regulatory drivers such as NIS2, ISO 27001, and CIS benchmarks.
- Standardize and modernize secure client and server deployment approaches for manufacturing, on-premises, and multi-cloud environments through Intune, SCCM, and MDM tooling.
- Establish mature endpoint lifecycle governance across build, hardening, patching, and monitoring.
- Achieve consistent EDR coverage and strong operational integration with the SOC.
- Ensure strong integration with IAM services, including device identity, credentials, certificates, and PAM dependencies.
Contributing your strengths: your qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cyber Security, or equivalent experience.
- Fluent English is required; German and French are an advantage.
- Proven Lead Architect or Product Owner experience in endpoint, workplace, or infrastructure security within a global enterprise environment.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Intune, SCCM, and MDM platforms, including design, deployment, and governance in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of endpoint and server security, including hardening, EDR, patching, and vulnerability management.
- Ability to translate security, compliance, and risk requirements into scalable technical services and control improvements.
- Strong stakeholder leadership across Security, IT Operations, Architecture, and local IT teams to align priorities and drive delivery across a global company landscape.
