About the Role
As a key member of a small dynamic team and reporting to the Team Lead – ICT Operations (QLD), you will be responsible for providing essential technical assistance and exceptional customer service to end-users within the organisation a national scale. The role will suit a service-orientated person who is composed, patient and is able to deal with multiple enquiries and issues, providing quick responses and accurate results.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT operations, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision. You must be composed, customer-focused, and capable of providing timely and accurate solutions to ensure seamless IT service delivery.
Key Responsbilities
- Provision of IT support services, level 1/2 tickets
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, servers, networks, printers, and scanners
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support to the branch (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Keep inventory of all equipment, software, and license users.
- Testing new technology and training users
- Active participation in the implementation of new IT solutions and services
Skills & Experience
- 3 years Helpdesk experience preferred
- Diploma in Information Technology is preferred
- Intermediate computer hardware and software installation skills
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Knowledge in the distribution and disposal of classified data/documents/devices
- Determining customer needs and establishing service solutions and forecasts
- Maintains a positive and optimistic attitude
- Communicates effectively and appropriately with others
- Able to work independently
