Your responsibilities
- Develop software for embedded systems used in aerospace applications
- Perform and coordinate tasks related to the development of complex software applications with a wide range of functions through to certification
- Develop, integrate, and optimise software components using a real-time operating system
- Design and implement interfaces for communication between different software components and the real-time operating system
- Analyse, design, and implement low-level system software, such as device drivers, kernel modules, and system services
- Conduct software reviews covering requirements analysis and software design
- Evaluate, document, and communicate verification results
- Actively contribute to the development and enhancement of products and support project work within interdisciplinary development teams
- Analyse and evaluate problems and develop effective solutions
- Develop strategies and make decisions that ensure compliance with product development requirements and specifications
Your qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable qualification
- Proven, long-term experience in embedded systems programming and the independent implementation of technical requirements
- Knowledge of various software architecture patterns and their definition and implementation
- Strong knowledge of low-level C programming and microcontroller programming
- English language skills (minimum C1) and German language skills (minimum B1)
- Dual-core and multi-core knowledge is desirable
- Knowledge of software development for aerospace applications according to DO-178 is desirable
- Strong assertiveness
