The Job of the IT Operations & Infrustructure specialist will  provide second-line IT support, infrastructure administration, endpoint management, cybersecurity sup-port, and automation assistance across the organization. The role is responsible for ensuring reliable IT ser-vices, secure systems, effective user support, accurate documentation, and continuous improvement of IT operations through standardization, scripting, and process automation. We are seeking a competent, motivated, and safety-conscious individual who thrives in a collaborative team environment and is committed to delivering high-quality work. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving,  operational efficiency while supporting Liebherr’s IT operations.

Responsibilities

•    Support the implementation and enforcement of cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.
•    Monitor security alerts and assist in the investigation, containment, and resolution of security incidents.
•    Manage endpoint security solutions, including antivirus, endpoint detection and response (EDR), vulnerability management, and remediation activities.
•    Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine IT support, administration, monitoring, and reporting tasks.
•    Utilize scripting technologies such as PowerShell, Python, Batch, Bash, or .NET/C# to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
•    Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution of user, system, application, and network issues.
•    Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related peripherals.
•    Support and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless access points, and VPN connectivity.
•    Administer user accounts, access permissions, security groups, and identity management services.
•    Support the implementation of IT process automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
•    Assist with system backups, disaster recovery, patch management, and software updates.
•    Configure, deploy, maintain, and support hardware and software solutions while ensuring compatibility with business applications.
•    Provide technical input and support for IT infrastructure enhancement and digital transformation projects.
•    Ensure compliance of the company’s data and systems with data privacy, cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.
•    Support users with Microsoft 365, video conferencing, remote access, collaboration platforms, and business applications.
•    Train users on IT systems, cybersecurity awareness, software usage, and technology best practices.
•    Maintain accurate inventories of IT assets, software licenses, and equipment lifecycle records.
•    Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data protection, and IT governance policies and assist in audits and compliance reviews.
•    Escalate unresolved incidents and problems to appropriate internal teams, vendors, or service providers as required.
•    Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
•    Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE              

•   College or University degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
•    2+ years of experience in IT support will be an added advantage.
•    Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud services.
•    Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, switches).
•    Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection.
•    Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
