Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Participation and support in handling of indirect materials and services, including office supplies, MRO items, utilities, logistics services, professional services, and other non-production requirements at plant level.
  • Prepare and analyze RFQs, tenders, and supplier quotations.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms under the guidance of the Strategic Buyers.
  • Assist with ERP system maintenance, purchase order management, and reporting activities.
  • Defining master data and procurement parameters for new parts and engineering changes.
  • Participation in analysing and optimizing master data and procurement parameters.
  • Participation and support in supplier management at plant/divisional level.
  • Maintain supplier contracts, pricing agreements, and procurement records.
  • Track supplier performance metrics, including quality, delivery, cost, and service levels.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure timely procurement support.
  • Support procurement projects and strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical sourcing standards.

Qualifications, Requirements & Experience

  • 3rd Level qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or a related commercial role.
  • Experience with indirect material procurement is desirable.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of procurement principles, supplier management, and contract administration.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Takes responsibility for their work and results.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Commercial awareness and cost-conscious mindset.
