The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for assisting the People Attraction Supervisor in supporting the HR recruiting program, policies, and initiatives for the U.S. Liebherr companies and operating divisions.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties:

  • Recruit for approved position openings for U.S. Liebherr companies and operating divisions.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Leverage social media and digital tools to showcase employee stories, culture, and career opportunities.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system and review and evaluate applicant qualifications and refers qualified applications to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.
  • Schedule interviews and prepare applicant correspondence.
  • Interview job applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills. May attend and conduct interviews with hiring team.
  • Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the hiring manager and Human Resources during the offer process, and extend job offers.
  • Assist to create brand awareness and promote the value of working for the U.S. companies.
  • Engage potential candidates through social media.
  • Participate in networking and recruiting events virtually and in-person.
  • Assist with tracking, measuring, and reporting on recruiting efforts.
  • Support the Shared Services HR Department in HR sponsored events.
  • Works on Recruiting / HR-related projects of limited complexity in a support role.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Work on Recruiting / HR-related projects of a more complex nature.
  • Recruit for management-level positions.
  • May assist with coordinating pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screens, and physicals.
  • May assist in coordinating with outside staffing agencies to secure temporary employees, based on departmental needs.
  • Generate and analyze recruitment metrics and reports to assess the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
  • Make data-driven recommendations for process improvement.
  • Assist with new employee orientation and exit interviews.
  • Studies the impact of legislation and supports compliance with federal and state laws.
  • Recruit for senior management positions.
  • Work on complex recruiting / HR-related projects.

Branding & Marketing:

  • Develop and execute employer branding initiatives aligned with the organization’s culture, values, and talent strategy.
  • Translate the employee value proposition (EVP) into consistent messaging across recruiting channels.
  • Partner with HR and Marketing to ensure alignment between internal culture initiatives and external employment brand messaging.
  • Design and implement candidate communication strategies to improve engagement and transparency.
  • Gather candidate feedback and identify opportunities to enhance the recruitment experience.
  • Support onboarding and pre-boarding communications to reinforce employer brand messaging.

Competencies

Education and Experience:

  • Level 2: A related bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Level 3: A related bachelor’s degree and 4-7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Additional Requirements: 

  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license and passport.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule required to support U.S. site locations and foreign affiliates.
