V.I.E Financial Controller (Contrôleur de gestion) h/f

Phase 1: Onboarding and Training (4 Months in Colmar, France)

The onboarding will take place in Colmar, the location of the factory and the Holding Company for the Division. The training will cover financial and controlling processes and systems, with the focus on the mining division, to ensure a thorough understanding of the business for the assignment in the sales and service company in Indonesia. Key areas addressed will be:

• Accounting processes: Accounts receivables and payables, cash management, general ledger IFRS, group reporting.
• Controlling processes: Integration, inventory valuation and management, investment plan, cost accounting, business case, group reporting, KPIs.

Phase 2: Completing the Assignment (18 months in the sales and service company head office in  Jakarta with regular trips to the operations facility Balikpapan).

The assignment aims to support the Indonesian controlling team in enhancing controlling processes and analysis, with the support of the division controlling manager and teams in France and Indonesia.

Key projects include:

• Continuous improvement of the segmented profit and loss module in the ERP.
• Supporting the local controlling team in developing business reports to drive operations with analyses in areas such as:
  1. Ad-hoc requests from local management
  2. Inventory control
  3. Local production (bucket fabrication, and component repairs)
  4. Sales planning
  5. After-sales profitability (spare parts and service)
• Assisting the controlling manager and General Manager in preparing financial plans with segmented profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and inventories, ensuring the use of divisional best practices.
• Conducting a comprehensive review of the financial integration for purchase, sales, production, and warehouse processes to ensure the consistency in the general ledger.
• Promote the use of standard business intelligence tools within the organization.
