Our dynamic Finance team has an opening for a dedicated Accounts Payable Coordinator. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing a high volume of invoices with precision, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and supporting critical financial operations across multiple entities.

Responsibilities

  • You are detail oriented, you process employee expenses, and you handle a high volume of assigned invoices accurately.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the AP mailbox for the AP team, on a daily basis.
  • Experienced in reconciliation of vendor accounts, monthly supplier statement reporting, you will assist in month-end closing of ledgers, control of accounts and reporting, preparation of payment proposals, payment data entry, EFT runs, distribution of electronic remittances, on-line bill payments, cheque runs and reconciliation of purchasing card (AMEX Pcard).
  • Other duties as required/assigned. 

Competencies

  • Between 1 to 3 years’ experience in full cycle accounts payables.
  • Accounting Diploma from a registered Canadian College.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously and proactively.
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written); French is an asset.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (power pivot, advanced formulas) and ERP accounting systems.
  • Ability to manage high volume periods, especially at month-end.
