Project Buyer Defense (m/f/x)
Your Responsibilities
- You pilot sourcing activities and ensure comprehensive supplier assessments, from the identification of internal needs to supplier evaluation and action definition
- You manage sourcing process including on-site audits, contracts negotiation, or potential analyses
- You lead projects aimed at increasing local content across the US, EU or other regions
- You develop and secure robust business cases, including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis
- You manage daily business activities related to defense-specific components, including export control, portfolio analysis, and administrative follow-up
- You collaborate closely with Quality and Supplier Quality Management (SQM) teams to enhance product quality and process stability
- You work in close cooperation with Value Engineering teams to support optimization initiatives within defined projects
Your Profile
- You bring extensive experience in industrial environment; experience in the combustion engine and/or defense sector is considered a strong asset
- You have solid experience in driving local content actions
- You have solid experience in project management and/or new product development
- You demonstrate flexibility and the ability to manage multiple topics in parallel, with a solution-oriented and proactive mindset
- You communicate fluently in English, German and/or French is an asset
