Information assets are key for business process performance, transparency, and innovation. As part of the Corporate Data Governance team, the Data Architect supports the design, documentation, and governance of data models, standards, and processes, strengthening the strategic management of data assets across the Group.

Tasks:

 

  • Collaborate with the Global Data Architect to develop the Data Architecture of the future
  • Support the definition of data standards and contribute to the evolution of the global data architecture
  • Document and manage system-agnostic data definitions across multiple data domains
  • Create, maintain, and enhance conceptual and logical data models following corporate templates
  • Contribute to the LeanIX modeling activities and maintain architectural documentation
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data classification, data lineage, data catalog initiatives, and support in data lifecycle definition
  • Collaborate closely with Data Domain Architects and Business Representatives to ensure consistency and quality
  • Support the coordination and implementation of data governance initiatives and frameworks

Skills:

 

  • Minimum 3+ years professional experience in data modeling; data governance, or enterprise architecture support would be an asset
  • Knowledge of data modeling techniques (conceptual, logical, physical) and data governance principles
  • A broad knowledge in database systems (SQL and No-SQL)
  • Knowledge of SAP data model would be an asset
  • Familiarity with tools like LeanIX is highly desirable (or strong willingness to learn)
  • Understanding of how data supports business processes and its importance for operational success
  • Structured, autonomous, and pragmatic way of working with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse business and IT teams
  • Experience in stakeholder management would be desirable
  • Fluent written and spoken English (minimum B2 level); German is a plus
