Liebherr Great Britain is looking for an Human Resources Advisor to join our HR team and contribute to the delivery of a high quality, customer focused people service across the business. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will partner with managers on employee relations matters, support recruitment and HR initiatives, champion learning and development activities, and take ownership of our HR systems and data processes.

As a trusted HR professional, you will support managers and employess across all divisions, help drive positive employee outcomes, and ensure our HR systems, reporting, and training platforms operate effectively and efficiently. Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, supporting early resolution and effective risk management.
  • Respond to HR queries promptly, professionally, and confidentially, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Build effective working relationships with managers to understand business needs and provide practical HR support and solutions.
  • Support the management of employee absence, including sickness absence cases, return-to-work processes, and absence reduction initiatives.
  • Assist with day-to-day HR activities, ensuring deadlines are met and service standards are maintained.
  • Support recruitment activities and hiring processes as required, including cover for the Talent Acquisition Adviser when necessary.
  • Act as a key user of the HR Information System (HRIS) and Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and appropriate user access controls.
  • Provide support, guidance, and training to HR system users, working closely with IT teams and external suppliers to resolve issues and implement improvements.
  • Support HR projects, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives across the HR function.
  • Assist with system testing, upgrades, and the implementation of new functionality.
  • Carry out regular audits of HR data, systems, and processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data quality.
  • Produce accurate and insightful standard and ad hoc reports for HR and management teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR systems, processes, reporting, and the overall user experience.
  • Coordinate and administer virtual and face-to-face training activities, including scheduling, communications, and logistics.
  • Monitor training compliance, maintain accurate training records, and ensure mandatory training requirements are completed.
  • Support onboarding activities and the administration of learning and development programmes.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and provide reporting on learning outcomes and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and all relevant data protection and information security requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits relating to HR data, learning records, and HR systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive audit trails, ensuring system issues, incidents, change requests, and resolutions are accurately documented.
  • Validate data across HR systems, workflows, and reports to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability.

Your Profile to be successful:

  • Demonstrable experience working with HR systems, processes, and procedures, with the ability to maintain accurate employee records and support system driven HR activities.
  • A sound understanding of data protection legislation, including GDPR, and best practice in the secure handling, storage, and management of sensitive personal data.
  • Proven experience dealing with confidential and highly sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Strong administrative, organisational, analytical, and reporting skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
