We are on the lookout for experienced and motivated Store people to join our National Distribution Centre (NDC) in Para Hills West.

With newly created positions available on both Day and Afternoon shifts, you will play a key role in delivering safe, effective, and compliant warehouse and distribution services for our Mining Division.

Key Responsibities

Provide warehouse and distribution services, including but not limited to:

  • Operate lifting equipment
  • Picking, packing and dispatching orders
  • Unpacking and checking stock
  • Stock-taking and generating basic reports
  • Receipt and dispatch items
  • Co-ordinate dispatch transport and compile dispatch documentation
  • Inspect and maintain items
  • Accurate; data entry, file records and documentation
  • Move gases and fluid drums using correct material handling procedures
  • Active involvement in the continuous improvement of the warehouse and distribution process
  • Personal (i.e. individual’s) health and safety performance and behaviour and that your acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of others
  • Compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) and Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Policy and Procedures. 
  • Alerting the organisation of potential or known problems that affect the quality of LAS products and services 

 

Role requirement

Essential Requirements:

  • Certificate II in Warehousing & Storage or 2-5 years of industry experience
  • High Risk Forklift (LF) License
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good customer service skills and a collaborative work style
  • An understanding of supply chain & distribution along with basic ERP skills
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing

Preferred

  • High Risk Order Picker (LO) License
  • High Risk Boom Type Elevating Work Platform (WP) License
