About the Role:

As a Regional Demand Planning Supervisor, you will lead a team driving excellence for the Mining Division across Australia and New Zealand and guide them to deliver accurate demand plans, ensuring optimal inventory levels and customer support. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact in a fast-paced and innovative manufacturing environment, implementing best-practice data management to support efficient supply chain operations, based at our Para Hills West site.

Skills and Duties:

With an immediate start, you will be required to:

  • Lead and mentor the demand planning team to deliver exceptional results
  • Validate and optimise customer inventory forecasts for short and long-term demand and communicate changes to management
  • Drive process improvements in stock turn efficiency, safety stock accuracy, and item data management to meet demand planning strategy
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align inventory levels with customer needs and business goals across the regional and national distribution centre
  • Leverage asset management planning systems, ERP, and Power BI for effective forecasting and reporting.

Requirements:

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • A Diploma in Supply Chain Management or 5+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting roles
  • A strong understanding of inventory management principles and ERP systems
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and manage performance
  • Exceptional analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
