As the Learning & Development Lead, you'll have the opportunity to shape learning strategy, influence organisational performance, and lead programs that support employees at every stage of their career. Working closely with leaders across Australia and New Zealand, you'll play a key role in creating a culture of continuous learning and development. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive the Learning & Development strategy to build capability across the organisation. 

  • Partner with leaders to identify skills gaps and translate business needs into effective learning solutions. 

  • Lead the design, development and continuous improvement of learning programs across classroom, digital and blended learning environments. 

  • Manage and develop a team of Learning & Development specialists, providing coaching, guidance and leadership. 

  • Oversee early careers and apprenticeship programs, ensuring strong outcomes, compliance and talent pipeline development. 

  • Measure learning effectiveness, report on outcomes, and drive continuous improvement through data and feedback. 

Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 10-15 years experience in the Learning and Development sector.  

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Education, Organisational Psychology, or related discipline. 

  • Proven experience in Learning & Development, including experience leading learning strategy and capability initiatives. 

  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training needs analysis methodologies. 

  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement and evaluate learning programs, including measuring effectiveness and business impact. 

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital learning platforms, and external training providers. 

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, coaching and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and build capability across a diverse organisation.
