Inventory Purchasing Officer
Reporting to the Inventory Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing and availability of mining parts, supplier relationships, purchasing data analysis, and purchase order management. You will play a key role in driving inventory performance, improving supplier outcomes, and enhancing customer satisfaction through data-driven decision making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision of effective and timely parts; purchasing, supply and returns
- Effective management of system inputs relating to supply; including date management, order discrepancies (price, quantity and quality).
- Managing and Developing relationships with internal and external key stakeholders
- Provide reports & data as required
About you
- Curious and strive for continuous improvement
- Diploma in Supply Chain or equivalent (Desirable)
- Experience in purchasing or supply chain related role would be highly regarded
- Excellent knowledge of MRP and application of inventory management principles
- Exposure in the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Proficient use of MS Office Suite.
- Exposure in the use of Baan IV ERP System.
