The 2026 year sees the business expand its workforce and we seek an experienced Inventory Purchasing Officer to join our Inventory Team in the Para Hills West Head Office.

About the Role:

 

Reporting to Manager, Inventory Purchasing, the role involves ensuring parts are procured in a timely fashion to meet customer demands and your skills in managing supplier relationships will be highly regarded.

 

Skills and Duties:

 

This position will require you to:

 

  • Provision of effective and timely parts; purchasing, supply and returns
  • Effective management of system inputs relating to supply
  • Investigation of alternative sourcing opportunities as required
  • Order and date management, communicating shortages and backorders
  • Resolution and management of supply and purchase price variances
  • Prepare reports and data as required to make informed recommendations
  • Drive and lead continuous improvement projects for purchasing team.

 

Essential Requirements:

The successful applicant will have:

 

  • Relevant Tertiary Bachelor’s Degree and 12 months experience. 5 years+ experience may be considered in lieu of qualification
  • Proficiency in the use if ERP systems, BI tools and Excel including strong project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and optimise operations.

 

The salary offered for this role is $87,040 plus Super

Those candidates successful in progressing past interview stage will be required to undergo a Pre-employment process including National Police Clearance and Medical Screening which includes drug and alcohol testing.
