The 2025 year sees the business expand its Fabrication and Welding workforce and we seek trade qualified and experienced Boilermaker Welders for our Para Hills West manufacturing facility on both Day and Afternoon Shifts.

About the Role:

As a qualified and experienced Boilermaker Welder, you will be putting your trade skills to good use fabricating Liebherr OEM Mining Excavator Buckets.

Skills and Duties:

With an immediate start available, you will be required to:

  • Demonstrate quality workmanship to meet and exceed business and customer requirements
  • Fabricate OEM Mining Excavator Buckets
  • Read and interpret technical workshop drawings, FCAW welding, grinding and arc gouging
  • Comply with internal OEM and international recognised acceptance criteria
  • Operate plant and mobile equipment
  • Have a strong commitment to safe work environment and continuous improvement
  • Be a self-starter and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Essential Requirements:

  • Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication)
  • Experience with Heavy Plate fabrication
  • Experience with Flux Core
  • Experience working with and demonstrated compliance with work area permit systems.

 

And most importantly … demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety and the safety of your co-workers!

 

Desirable Requirements:

  • Hold a current confined space ticket
  • Scissor Lift (Yellow Card) and forklift and dogging/rigging licences

 

Candidates are advised that a Welding Assessment is required as part of the Interview Process.

 

Those candidates successful in progressing past interview stage will be required to undergo a Pre-employment process including National Police Clearance and Medical Screening which includes drug and alcohol testing.
