Workshop Service Technician, Mobile Cranes
Liebherr is looking for a Heavy Duty Workshop Mechanic to service and repair mobile cranes at our dealership. In this role, you will diagnose and maintain equipment using Liebherr OEM training and advanced tools. Working in a well-equipped workshop, you will ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, inspect and diagnose Liebherr machinery and components including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, engines, gearbox/drive train, etc. to resolve moderate to complex problems
- Perform new and used machinery preparation, scheduled maintenance, repair or overhaul usually requiring component replacement, commissioning and adjustment of mechanical/hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic equipment, including warranty upgrades Recondition and repair equipment components and systems as assigned
- Perform pre-delivery inspections of equipment and new & used equipment preparation
- Occasionally perform servicing on Liebherr machinery as directed, including fluid checks, and sample pulling, oil and filter checks, changing lubricants, replacing filters, greasing machine lube points etc.
- Ensure components, material and/or equipment is inspected, is corrected to specifications and ensure timely delivery programs are achieved
- Ensure all final verifications specified in work instructions, scope of work, verbal communication and specifications are carried out and complete
- Accurate and timely submission of reports and technical document including service reports
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment and work areas in accordance with company policy
- Other duties as assigned
Competencies
- Valid driver’s license required.
- 5+ years of experience in repairing and maintaining heavy equipment; experience with mobile cranes and Liebherr cranes is an asset.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Strong skills in reading and understanding schematics and technical drawings.
- Accurate completion of service reports and time entries.
- CVIP Certification.
- Ability to work a regular 5/2 shift (Monday to Friday) with overtime opportunities, and flexibility to work 4x10 or other shifts on short notice if needed.
- Effective communication skills to convey detailed and complex information clearly and concisely.
- Adaptable to changing priorities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently for extended periods.
