Labourer (3 Month Contract)
Join our team at Liebherr Canada as a Labourer, where your contributions will play a vital role in our success as a leading OEM manufacturer of heavy equipment. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are committed to upholding safety regulations and company policies at all times. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing tools and equipment for daily tasks, performing setup and cleanup activities at job sites, and providing essential labor support to specialty crews. Your ability to assist skilled tradespeople will ensure smooth project execution while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Prepare tools and equipment for daily tasks.
- Perform setup and cleanup activities at job sites.
- Provide labor support to specialty crews, assisting skilled tradespeople with their duties.
- Assist with tasks that require additional labor, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Competencies
- Ability to perform tasks in multi-temperature environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support skilled tradespeople.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Time management skills to efficiently complete assigned duties.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in the industry.
- Willingness to work a 5x2 shift with the flexibility to work outside of regular hours when needed.
