Customer Support Representative, Mining
Are you passionate about technical support and ensuring the performance and reliability of mining equipment in the field? We are looking for a Customer Support Representative to join our team based out of our Acheson, AB branch, providing expert support for operations across Western Canada (Manitoba and westward).
In this role, you will provide safe, effective, and timely technical support and product advice to our customers, with a strong focus on on-site service, component planning, and equipment performance. You will play a key part in building and maintaining customer relationships, while helping to plan and support maintenance strategies that keep our equipment running reliably.
If you have a background in OEM support, are experienced with large mining equipment, and enjoy a hands-on role working directly with customers, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage Liebherr equipment on-site, identifying and recommending actions to maintain or improve performance and condition.

Report major or recurring maintenance issues that could lead to production delays or high costs.

Support the development and management of site budgets and forecasts.

Help Planners and Maintenance Staff create preventive and scheduled maintenance programs and task instructions.

Ensure accuracy of machine cards for your assigned fleet.

Promote the importance of parts planning to customers.

Provide regular feedback to the Parts Planning Supervisor and Parts Managers regarding customer maintenance strategies and long-term planning.

Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with customers.

Coordinate pre-delivery inspections of equipment.

Keep detailed inspection records, including undercarriage and machine inspection reports.
Competencies
-
5–10 years of experience in OEM support roles.

Available to travel to remote mine sites to visit customers.

Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Must be available to work on-site, Monday to Friday.

Experience with large mining excavators and shovels.

Skilled at communicating detailed and complex information clearly and concisely.

Adheres to instructions, guidelines, and established protocols.

Valid driver’s license required.
