Warehouse Person, Heavy Equipment
Join our team as a Warehouse Person!
Are you an organized and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment? As a Warehouse Person, you’ll be responsible for receiving shipments, inspecting and sorting items, and ensuring they are properly stored or stocked. You’ll also handle the shipping of orders and transfers, making sure everything is processed accurately and efficiently.
In addition, you’ll help maintain a clean and organized workspace while contributing to projects that improve warehouse operations and efficiency. If you thrive in a hands-on role and enjoy working as part of a team, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Check, receive and process sales orders, replenishment orders and purchase orders
- Prepare shipments and create labels
- Contact shipping companies and arrange pick up / delivery
- No location list - Inventory checks
- File necessary paperwork and stay organized
- Make sure warehouse is clean, tidy and safe
- Cycle count daily
- Work with component and reman department on various warehouse / parts activities
- Process parts returns from customers and field
- Organize warehouse and locations for flow
- Identify priorities for the day (shipping and receiving areas)
- Review stock out and PO to see common parts ordered/patterns
- List of misses and possible sales
- Do a check of warehouse and note all empty spaces / constant improvement
- Weekly major clean up
- Works with Warranty team to process items for shipping
- Process cores to make sure that all items are stored, packed and shipped back to the factory
Competencies
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
- Operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other lifting tools
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing
- Ability to receive, sort, store, and ship items accurately
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and efficient workspace
- Commitment to safety procedures and workplace protocols
