Production Planning and Analysis Manager
A production planning manager oversees developing production plans in adherence to the company's budget and deadlines. It is their duty to identify the production needs and set objectives and guidelines that would usher employees into achieving a smooth and efficient workflow. They must also monitor the progress of daily production operations, resolving issues when they arise. Furthermore, as a production planning manager, it is essential to lead and encourage employees to meet production goals, all while implementing the company's policies and regulations.
Your responsibilities
- Supervises productions planning activities.
- Co-ordinate and interfaces with fabrication, reman and hose planner, machining and part planning department activities.
- Co-ordinates related department involved in the production activities.
- Conduct a periodic audit of production WIP and ensure set targets are achieve.
- Create and maintain ISO procedures.
- Maintain WIP inventory in accordance with demand.
- Implement first stages of ISO 9000 and total quality management.
- Coordinate production plans base on capacity, BOM and material readiness.
- Support production planner to communication with the management team.
- Provide oversight of all materials processes from procurement to logistics.
- Support improvement cost related production activities.
- Prepare and maintain production shop loading to controlling production forecasting and demand.
- Facilitate several events that improve process efficiency, reduce manufacturing hours and improve several non-standard project and operational processes.
- Developed and directed the MRP Implementation Team tasked with rendering recommendations to management on software system enhancements.
- Participate in cross functional teams that seek out continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing capacity and inventory optimization.
- Create, monitor, and evaluate for improvement many internal ERP systems or SOW procedures pertaining to production reconciliation.
- Worked in partnership with the Sales, Part Business, production planning, inventory control, and Procurement teams to maintain facility inventory levels.
- Provides monthly data for production progress reports.
- Monitor and enforce working practices in accordance with company policy and system requirements.
- Prepare and maintain production control forecasting and demand.
- Keep KPI all production line on target and make action plan to achieve.
Your qualifications
- Education Min S1
- Minimum 5 years experience in management of Heavy Mining Equipment Industry
- Relevant production experience is desirable
- Strong organizational skills
- Fluent in English and Bahasa
